Description of problem: I just got this mail from cron.weekly: /etc/cron.weekly/98-zfs-fuse-scrub: connect: No such file or directory Please make sure that the zfs-fuse daemon is running. internal error: failed to initialize ZFS library I'm not running ZFS, the only reason I have zfs-fuse installed is because the guestfs stuff wants it. Whatever 98-zfs-fuse-scrub is doing should be quiet about discovering zfs isn't running, because for 99.999% of all users, it won't be running. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): zfs-fuse-0.6.9-8.20100709git.fc15.x86_64 How reproducible: I'd image I'm going to see this every week. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install libguestfs-tools 2.get zfs-fuse as a dependency 3.get annoying cron.weekly message Actual results: annoying messages as side effect Expected results: If I'm not actually using it, it shouldn't complain about that. Additional info:
I have the same problem. As a temporary solution trying: chmod -x /etc/cron.weekly/98-zfs-fuse-scrub Should help....
Yes... please make this stop!
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.
chmod-ing helps !

BTW, /etc/sysconfig/zfs-fuse is the only executable script in my /etc/sysconfig, IMHO it shouldn't be.
You're right. I'm fixing that in rawhide. Thanks, good catch.
