thanks. fwiw that's actually an upstream issue unrelated to Bug 760437 which triggered the update. I'll look into it
Actually, I was wrong, it was the fix for Bug 760437 which triggered it. the tablet has a combination of relative/absolute axes that was mishandled. patch coming up in a minute
xorg-x11-drv-evdev-2.6.99.901-7.20120118git9d9c9870c.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/xorg-x11-drv-evdev-2.6.99.901-7.20120118git9d9c9870c.fc16
Is the update primarily for the host or guest? As I have F15\F17(Rawhide) guests with the same symptoms xmvga\vnc (as I find spice gives a small windowed console, until Desktop starts in the guest)
Tested with Spice and above update in host and F16 guests, still disappearing mouse. Mouse will stay if kept on full-screen, and away from top of guest. All guest graphics tested. Same result. Adding\removing tablet in guest hardware, no difference. No option to remove mouse and test with tablet only.
