Seems to be the same as https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/827689

Same problem on Fedora Alpha 17. Used the above versions but also tried banshee-2.2.1-4 from updates-testing repo with same issue.

Just a note that I upgraded an old laptop to fedora 17 i386, and banshee starts just fine. Seems to be an X86_64 only issue?

Banshee now starts fine with updated dbus-sharp. However now displays message to the effect: Waiting for playback to begin, and no music plays. Couple of suspicious things in --debug log attached above.
