Created attachment 564278 [details] org.gnome.glabels-3.gschema.xml Description of problem: glabels gives errors due to invalid schema file Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): glabels 3.0.0-8.fc16 How reproducible: Anytime a yum update is run that executes a post install %posttrans glib-compile-schemas --allow-any-name %{_datadir}/glib-2.0/schemas ||: Steps to Reproduce: 1. run yum update 2. If package is updated that runs glib-compile-schemas 3. then error occurs Actual results: Error when yum updates: warning: undefined reference to <schema id='org.gnome.glabels.locale'/> warning: undefined reference to <schema id='org.gnome.glabels.objects'/> warning: undefined reference to <schema id='org.gnome.glabels.history'/> warning: undefined reference to <schema id='org.gnome.glabels.ui'/> package being updated ran this: %posttrans glib-compile-schemas --allow-any-name %{_datadir}/glib-2.0/schemas ||: Expected results: No errors Additional info: attached schema file that I believe is causing error. In one location the first schema listed above is referenced as org.gnome.glabels.locale and then all other places it is referenced as org.gnome.glabels-3.locale (likewise for the other ones)
Thanks for the bug report - I'll look into it right away. The first thing that strikes me as odd is that the %posttrans script in the spec file does not have the "--allow-any-name" option. Oh well. I'll patch the schema to use org.gnome.glabels-3 instead of org.gnome.glabels and see if that fixes it. :)
[ Adding a bug dependency on 795582, as building gLabels with this fix requires libqrencode to fix its pkgconfig file. ]
so what is the status of this? I can verify that changing the schema file to use org.gnome-glabels-3 instead of org.gnome.glabels does indeed fix the issue, and have manually edited mine here in the meantime.
Hi, Daniel. I've been very busy this past week with school projects and whatnot; but I will get to the qrencode fixes tomorrow and then gLabels fixes will be done shortly thereafter. :) Thanks

Thanks for fixing this, Peter :) The updated packages fix the error, and don't seem to create any new one, so I am going to mark this one as fixed. It can always be re-opened if needed.
