Adam, can you tell us what was going on at the time this happened?
Ah, this one. I think the reason it has no explanation is that it coincides with my keyboard suddenly entirely ceasing to work. The system appeared to be running mostly as normal, but I couldn't get keyboard input to work at all in any way.
