Description of problem: /etc/sysconfig/keyboard can't be persist. # cat /config/files | grep keyboard # Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rhev-hypervisor6-6.3-20120330.0.el6 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install RHEV-H and choose "German" keyboard layout as default. 2. Enter keyboard menu, choose "German" keyboard layout and apply. 3. Reboot host. Actual results: 1. Check /etc/sysconfig/keyboard after step 1. Keyboard configure file show "us" as default. # cat /etc/sysconfig/keyboard KEYTABLE="us" MODEL="pc105+inet" LAYOUT="us" 2. Check /etc/sysconfig/keyboard after step 2. Keyboard configure file show "de". # cat /etc/sysconfig/keyboard KEYTABLE="de" MODEL="pc105" LAYOUT="de" 2. After reboot the host, keyboard configure file show "us" as default. # cat /etc/sysconfig/keyboard KEYTABLE="us" MODEL="pc105+inet" LAYOUT="us" Expected results: /etc/sysconfig/keyboard can be persist.
