Description of problem: gzip_stream.h is missing in protobuf-devel. This was fixed in Fedora in bug 732087, but as far as I can tell, this change has not made it into EPEL. This is currently preventing me from packaging the mosh 1.2 release candidate for EPEL 5 and 6. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.3.0-7 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
Will be in next update: [derks@derks-vm protobuf]$ rpm -qlp protobuf-devel-2.3.0-8.el5.centos.x86_64.rpm | grep gzip /usr/include/google/protobuf/io/gzip_stream.h
Oops... I'm not maintainer anymore... forgot that. Re-assigning.

Created attachment 806774 [details] Patch to add zlib-devel to BuildRequires Would it be possible to get protobuf rebuilt on el5 and el6 with BuildRequires on zlib-devel added?
