Description of problem: When i try to create new html message, and, for example, i add a emoticon into message , the window "freeze", i cannot write anymore. I'm also unable to close the window, because of the mouse click failure. I have to kill evolution by terminal. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): evolution-3.4.2-1.fc17.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open "new message" window 2. choose HTML compositing 3. insert an emoticon into message Actual results: window freeze, unable to write or click Expected results: continue with message writing Additional info: This problem is also on ubuntu 12.04.
Thanks for a bug report. This had been fixed only recently, in upstream bug [1]. Hmm, the change is done for 4.4.3 of gtkhtml3. I'll update gtkhtml3-4.4.2 when the current version is propagated to stable updates. You can try with a scratch build of the gtkhtml3-4.4.2-2 from here [2].
