Description of problem:
I have A SuSE Linux 8.0 Installation running and wanted to install Red Hat 8.0
as Test-system in parallel.

following Messages appear after loading aic7xxx module and starting x-server:

install exited abnormally.

I made a posting on Linux-foren.de, where someone told me, that the installation
will work by installing first Red Hat and then SuSE.
But this is (just at the moment) no option for me!

PS: The CD has passt the mediacheck corectly

The error occurs in graphical and lowres-mode as well as in textmode.

Actual Results:  installation ended with message:

install exited abnormally.

and shut down PC

Expected Results:  anaconda should be started

Jeremy are there any known 8.0 issues with the aic driver?
