What steps did you take that resulted in this traceback?
I have seen this bug right after booting anaconda, on the language selection screen (no action performed). In the other two attempts I have seen bug 851207. Fedora 18 Alpha TC3 x86_64 DVD, bare metal machine Proposing as Alpha blocker. Even though I can't consistently reproduce it, it's one of two bugs that I encountered when running anaconda.
Looks like we're just missing a lock somewhere.
Discussed at 2012-08-27 QA meeting, functioning as a blocker review meeting. Agreed this bug is definitely NTH-worthy, we're not sure of blocker status without more data (it'd be useful to see if others hit this).
Discussed at 2012-08-29 blocker review meeting. Agreed we still need more data on this one so will delay a little longer.
I can no longer hit this issue using the same machine with TC5 DVD. Setting as VERIFIED.
Discussed at 2012-09-05 blocker review meeting. Rejected as a blocker as it seems no-one but Kamil has seen this, but accepted as NTH due to the severity of the impact and the possibility that others could.
18.6.5-1 was pushed stable, so closing.
