As Vijay pointed out outcast will not help in this case. Proper handling of this case will require bitrot. setting devel_ack- for 2.0.z Update 3.

Didnt know that devel_ack- will close a bug. Reopening it and changing devel_ack to ?

Verified the fix by executing the steps mentioned to re-create the bug. Bug is fixed. 

[10/22/12 - 08:39:59 root@harv ~]# gluster --version
glusterfs 3.3.0.4rhs built on Oct 19 2012 09:16:41
