Description of problem: Bug report comments added by libreport for duplicate reports are not clearly identified as libreport comments. This may cause readers to misinterpret such comments as misplaced. For example: Bug 853636, Comment 32. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): libreport-0:2.0.18-1.fc18.x86_64 Fedora-18-Beta-TC7-x86_64-Live-Desktop.iso How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. File a new bug report using libreport. 2. File a duplicate report of the same bug using libreport. Actual results: The duplicate report has user comments followed by two lines of libreport annotation: Package: anaconda-18.24 OS Release: Fedora release 18-Beta-TC7 Expected results: libreport annotation says: "This comment was added by libreport for a duplicate report of this bug." libreport annotation includes: libreport version: 2.0.18 Additional info: See also: Bug 875127 - release name may not be included in OS Release string
Agreed, the msg template should contain the info, that the comment comes from abrt and the bug was not chosen by the reporter.
