Description of problem:
unable to place the root filesystem(/) on a xfs(ext3)formatted partition 
on the MANUAL PARTITIONING page 
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
f18 x86_64 Final TC2

How reproducible:

100%
Steps to Reproduce:
1.do a default install
2.click into"INSTALLATION DESTINATION" and chlik"let me customize the partitioning "
3.choose "Root" and click "customize"

* was pushed to the Fedora 18 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:

as soon as you are able to.

I was able to complete and boot an install with / as xfs using TC3. No apparent problems.

Note that, per the dupe, this bug is broader than stated: apparently you cannot change the type of a newly created partition in custom partitioning in TC2.

Hi Adam,I have downloaded TC3 just now  and tested,the bug seems to be fixed already.
