Previously, "NETMASK" was defined in the hypervisor network configuration file by the string "PREFIX".
Install scripts that were used to install the necessary Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization packages and to configure the hypervisor network did not understand the PREFIX line, and the installation failed.
A fix was introduced that identifies the PREFIX line as meaning NETMASK=255.255.255.0.
The installation no longer fails when trying to configure the hypervisor network.

This is a duplicate of bug 886190. Given the number of complaints about this, I'd suggest to try and solve it in rhev-3.1.z, too. Hence, I'm keeping this bug open. Posted to rhev-3.1-6.4 branch https://gerrit.eng.lab.tlv.redhat.com/3913 https://gerrit.eng.lab.tlv.redhat.com/3914 RHEL 6.4.0.4.el6 with vdsm-4.10.2-6.0.el6ev was successfully added into si26.1 Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory, and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2013-0555.html |
