Description of problem:
1. Download Fedora 18 RC4 x86_64 Live Desktop ISO file http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/18-RC4/Live/x86_64/Fedora-18-x86_64-Live-Desktop.iso
2. Create a Windows 8 Pro Client Hyper-V virtual machine with 2048 MB of RAM and a 32 GB hard drive
3. Install Fedora 18 RC4 to the VM.
4. Reboot, create non-root user and log in.

I'm not sure when the crash happened, but everything else on the desktop seems to be A-OK.
