*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 889663 ***
I'm reopening this bug so that somebody working on the kernel package can have a look at the patches that were included in upstream kernel 3.8-rc4 and that fix the crash. See bug 889663 (I do not have the permissions to change the product of that bug to the kernel, and actually it is in gnome-shell, which is not correct).
There are some patches referenced there that are already included in the 3.7.4 update in updates-testing. The rest will be in the 3.7.5 stable release when it comes out.
Yeah, upstream just explained me this. Could you change the component of bug 889663 to the kernel, and mark this one as a duplicate? Thanks!

(In reply to comment #14) > Yeah, upstream just explained me this. Could you change the component of bug > 889663 to the kernel, and mark this one as a duplicate? Thanks! That seemed like a lot of moving for no reason. I just marked the other one as a duplicate of this.
Kernel 3.7.4 has included a first patch, 3.7.5 included a more radical fix. I've not experienced the bug since my last comment.
