Created attachment 688863 [details]
picture showing the abnornal network spoke (from the main hub) parts of the main hub are visible

Description of problem:

The Spoke will be incomplete, parts of it will be off-screen. Also parts of the MAIN HUB will be visible. It is not possible to enter 'Configure' because it is off-screen and ALT+C does not work. In the case of a NetInstall, one will not be able to setup the network at this point within the Network Spoke. Also ALT+N does not work.

It also not possible to enable/disable interfaces because the ON/OFF switch is off-screen and its hot-key is unknown. This last issue might impact an user which is using a Netinstall image to install over wifi via NFS, since anaconda will start to use CLOSEST MIRROR and one needs to DISABLE the NETWORK CARD and ENABLE it again as a workaround for low speed internet connections.

At least returning to the MAIN HUB is very easy because the 'Done' button is shown. I could not find any action that can "repair" the screen.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
F18 Release

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot, reach the main hub
2. enter network spoke
3. abnormal network spoke (but different from Bug 904989)

Actual results:
* cannot enable / disable network devices
* cannot configure

Expected results:
Normal network spoke. (For F19)

Note that the anaconda UI was not designed for such limited screen space, and as such doing anything here is going to be very low priority.

In fact, I'm going to go so far as to say we almost certainly are not going to have time to work on this, especially given that it's not within our target resolution, nor has it ever been.
