This is coming with the Data Classification feature:

Feature requests make most sense against the 'mainline' release, there is no ETA for an implementation and requests might get forgotten when filed against a particular version.

Data tiering is available in the current 3.7.0 release, but marked as experimental. Bug 1221957 is used to track functional and stability improvements before tiering really can get marked as "supported".
