FYI: check the license of main.css in notmyidea style before allowing this to go in.

Comment 2 Rahul Sundaram 2013-03-10 07:16:43 UTC
kernel.org claims the license of the css file is unclear

https://www.kernel.org/cleanroom-styles.html

Please get this clarified with Fedora legal and upstream.

Why are you defining python_sitelib?

Comment 3 Ondřej Surý 2013-03-12 07:54:37 UTC
Well, I found the license issue when I was packaging pelican for Debian. Still haven't heard from upstream or Smashing Magazine that they have cleared the licensing (e.g. this cannot go in).

Comment 4 Tim Flink 2013-05-07 16:22:48 UTC
Hasn't the licensing issue been solved?

https://github.com/getpelican/pelican/blob/master/pelican/themes/notmyidea/static/css/main.css

shows a MIT license, commit from 2013-04-10 appears to have added it

Comment 5 Konstantin Ryabitsev 2013-05-07 16:34:24 UTC
Correct, the licensing issues have been resolved. They have obtained a commitment from Smashing Magazine to release it under MIT license.

Comment 6 Ondřej Surý 2013-05-08 11:32:58 UTC
Ack, I can confirm that this issue has been fixed, and I also can confirm that I haven't found any other licensing issue in the source package.

It will hit the Debian very soon (as soon as I have some time to finish the packaging).
