Description Kjartan Maraas 2003-06-04 10:12:47 UTC
Description of problem:

The installer can't find the mousepad and buttons on my laptop, a compaq evo
n600c. I have a mousepad with four buttons (two above and two below the pad) in
addition to a "steering pin/knob"?.

This makes it really cumbersome to do the install, but luckily keynav saves the day.

Forgot to say that it worked just fine in the previous beta cycle (pre 9)

Comment 2 Bill Nottingham 2003-06-12 18:24:54 UTC
Does it detect them and it just doesn't work, or does it not detect the mouse at
all?

Comment 3 Kjartan Maraas 2003-06-12 22:12:07 UTC
It didn't detect them at all in the installer. If I chose two button mouse
(PS/2) (which i think it really is, just that you have two sets of buttons) then
it works after booting the installed system.

Comment 4 Bill Nottingham 2003-10-02 04:47:50 UTC
If you choose PS/2 in the installer, does it work at all?

Comment 5 Kjartan Maraas 2004-05-23 21:56:34 UTC
This is working now. Closing.
