Created attachment 754451 [details] screenshot on rhel64 Testing with version intended for rhel64... [root@rhsm-compat-rhel64 ~]# rpm -q subscription-manager-gui subscription-manager-gui-1.8.8-1.el6_4.x86_64 [root@rhsm-compat-rhel64 ~]# subscription-manager-gui OMF category 'GNOME|Accessories' not recognised, ignoring. OMF category 'GNOME|Accessories' not recognised, ignoring. VERIFIED: that there is no parser error. HOWEVER there are still OMF messages. I don't know if these OMF messages are problematic. NEEDINFO More importantly, there is no Figure 3 included in the getting started doc. See attached screenshot.
Testing with version intended for rhel59z... [root@rhsm-compat-rhel59 ~]# rpm -q subscription-manager-gui subscription-manager-gui-1.8.8-1.el5_9 [root@rhsm-compat-rhel59 ~]# subscription-manager-gui (subscription-manager-gui:16850): libglade-WARNING **: unknown property `has_tooltip' for class `GtkButton' (subscription-manager-gui:16850): libglade-WARNING **: unknown property `has_tooltip' for class `GtkEventBox' Bonobo accessibility support initialized (yelp:16885): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:2269: signal name `load_complete' is invalid for instance `0x1cc4cf0' (yelp:16885): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:2269: signal name `load_complete' is invalid for instance `0x1661720' VERIFIED: that there is no parser error. However the warnings above are still reported. Although ugly, I don't believe these messages are problematic. NEEDINFO. Same failure as noted in comment 6, there is a missing figure 3 as seen in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=754451
The OMF errors seem to be coming from gnome-help directly. ie, just: [~]$ gnome-help OMF category 'GNOME|Accessories' not recognised, ignoring. OMF category 'GNOME|Accessories' not recognised, ignoring.
The missing figure is fixed in pr: https://github.com/candlepin/subscription-manager/pull/710
Fixed in master at commit 02d0c483629cd84087c97c1347d7c6ce474070d0 Author: Adrian Likins <alikins> Date: Mon Jul 22 17:53:19 2013 -0400 950892: add ents-nag-warning.png to docs install
Moving these to ON_QA. The tooling must have missed moving these.
Verified at RHEL5.10-sp3-server64 with subscription-manager-gui version 1.8.15-1
