The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

While working on bug #974234, I realized that settings are not loaded properly. Then I recalled some changes around this, moving e_extensible_load_extensions() from init() into constructed(). Better to do this early, rather than later.

With respect fo steps, the easiest might be to follow steps from bug #974234 comment #4 and observe that without this fix the LDAP book is not loaded, only local books are loaded. One can also open Edit->Preferences->Mail Preferences->Headers tab and "turn on and off again" the
  [ ] Search for sender photograph only in local addressbooks
