Description Tomáš Bžatek 2013-07-01 12:46:03 UTC
Cloning the original bugreport that has been fixed in gnome-vfs2-2.16.2-9.el5. Due to some regressions introduced and reported as bug 905048 we're changing the original patch which directly affect the previous bugreport.

This is just an informational bugreport for tracking and testing purposes within the 5.9.z/5.10.0 release.

Comment 1 Tomáš Bžatek 2013-07-01 12:46:47 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #621394 +++

Please describe the problem:
Nautilus can't delete a symlink to a folder which is on another filesystem

Steps to reproduce:
1. open in nautilus /mnt/somethink-mounted
2. open your home in another nautilus
3. create a symlink of /mnt/somethink-mounted in your home
4. try to delete the link

Actual results:
first i've got a message like "can't delete other filesystem" but now when I try
to reproduce, delete (or "moving to trash") just do nothing. symlink isn't
deleted and nautilus doesn't send any error.

Expected results:
symlink shoud be deleted

Does this happen every time?
yes
