Last modified: 2013-07-16 20:48:02 EDT
Description of problem:
When a new kernel is available, the kmod-wl is not updated, resulting in failure of Wifi Communication with the Broadcom STA driver.
Package "akmods" is installed.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
I filed by error this as a Rawhide bug 985062, should have been Fedora 19 !
Please file this against whomever you got the wl kmod from. Fedora doesn't provide or support separate kernel module packages. The kmod component in bugzilla is for the module-init-tools replacement.
