The support for various features of different formats is limited in 1.1.4. E.g. glyphs in SVG due to the lack of support for cloned objects. 1.1.5 adds various features allowing a wider range of input files. Be aware that this requires some work as some of the code is now split out into a library (sk1libs). The GUI also moved into a separate package (uniconvw).
I have made attempt package sk1libs in the past - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=759747#c12 and unfortunately it fails due to the bundled libs https://code.google.com/p/sk1/issues/detail?id=30 and do not willing by upstream author to do anything in abandoned 1.x branch. So, unfortunately I can't do there anything. But I ask he again about plans on uniconvertor 2.0.
