Description of problem: Because brick down events are not being displayed by the console, a short-term solution would be to add a color-coded alert to the brick status. See bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=986360 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
Brick down events are now logged in the Console (though with a max delay of 5 minute), and there is a color coded alert introduced in volume view - yellow when some of the bricks are down. I think this has addressed the issue asked in the bug. Marking it modified for now.
Please provide the fixed in version.
Verified and works with build rhsc-3.1.0-0.57.master.el6.noarch. When a brick goes down in a volume an event message is displayed and the brick is marked red and the volume status is changed to an yellow symbol with exclamation mark and mouse hovering on that says some of the bricks in the volume are down.
