Ohad - do you mean that favicon is missing completely, or that there *is* a favicon, only the wrong one (i.e. oVirt's)?

as for now, on is14 on the tab of the webadmin there is no icon at all.

Hi Sefi,

Can you tell me if you see an icon if you navigate to
http://<server>/ovirt-engine-theme-resource/favicon
(where <server> is your testing server)

Favicon testing can be tricky because they are aggressively cached.

Ok, so then if you refresh the page, do you now see the icon in the tab? (It's working for me.)

Did you try going to http://<server>/ovirt-engine-theme-resource/favicon
and see if it serves? Favicons are super aggressively cached\ by browsers.

it serves it...
I cleared my cache and still same outcome
on the welcome screen the favicon is visible
when logging into webadmin it disappears

Ok, how about

http://<server>/webadmin/theme-resource/favicon   (it should serve, does it?)

and if yes, then try webadmin again.

Actually, Ohad, I duplicated the bug you're seeing. Favicon appears to be always missing only when you click the link to go to the webadmin.

If you navigate directly to http://<server>/webadmin/webadmin/WebAdmin.html?locale=en_US#login   you should always get the icon.

I'm looking into it.

Ohad, are you using Firefox? If so, please try Chrome and tell me if it works as expected in Chrome.

Verified on RHEL 6.5 with RHEVM 3.3 , IS24.2
The icon appears on main page of the server and also in webadmin page.
verified on Firefox 25.0, Chrome 31.0.1650.57
