It is a suggestion. Can you consider renaming `volume set ganesha.enable <volume_name>` to something more meaningful like volume set ganesha.export <volume_name>` , since it will export that volume through nfs-ganesha while setting this option. And it is also similar with global option features.ganesha , sounds confusing for me. This translates to teardown cluster. All the above problems are fixed by checking the global key and value, depending on the value, specific functions are called. And also, functions related to global commands are moved to cli-cmd-global.c Commit phase of features.ganesha enable/disable runs the ganesha-ha.sh setup/teardown respectively. Before the script begins, it is important that the NFS-Ganesha service starts on all the HA nodes. Having the start service commands in the commit phase could lead to problems. Moving the pre-requisite service start commands to the 'stage' phase. You can find clone of this BZ, fixed in a GlusterFS release and closed. Hence closing this mainline BZ as well. This bug is getting closed because a release has been made available that should address the reported issue. In case the problem is still not fixed with glusterfs-3.8.0, please open a new bug report. glusterfs-3.8.0 has been announced on the Gluster mailinglists [1], packages for several distributions should become available in the near future. Keep an eye on the Gluster Users mailinglist [2] and the update infrastructure for your distribution.
