This is a dupe of another... fixing it in the FC2 context is hard. Targeting for FC3 *** Bug 123220 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 125366 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** One workaround is to remove the install CD when you are first prompted for the FTP server. During the next step the graphical install files are loaded from the install media. If your CD is in the drive, that is preferred and the FTP connection will not be tested. If no local install media are available then the graphical install files will be downloaded from the FTP server. If your URL is incorrect you will immediately get an error message and have a chance to correct the typo. This got fixed for FC3 |
