*** Bug 15879 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I have exactly the same problem, booting either from floppy or HDD. Machine config: - Athlon 800 SocketA (Thunderbird) on an Asus A7V motherboard. - Duron 600 SocketA on a Gigabyte GA-7ZM motherboard. Both these machines use the VIA KT-133 chipset If I bring the boot disk in to work, it boots perfectly on an older Athlon 750 (Slot config) as well as the other intel systems we have here. Carl (carl_mes) Erm, uh... I need to re-assign this to a Red Hat employee. |
