The beta Pinakle has been running fine but the Redhat 7 release doesn't:

The installation tool stops copying the packages nearly immediatelly with
this error message - I really don't like the pathnames :

-------------------------------

Since the root partition is 2 GByte, insufficent disk space is not the
problem - my choice of components was about 1.1 GB.

Are you doing an upgrade or install?

What is the mount point /c configured as?

Comment 2 Michael Fulbright 2000-09-26 15:13:13 UTC
This looks like bug 17840.

Comment 3 Michael Fulbright 2000-09-29 16:05:41 UTC
Related to bug 17886?

Comment 4 Need Real Name 2000-10-02 05:14:54 UTC
Not mounting the NTFS partition (was /c) during installation did the trick.
Thanks for your help.

Lars

install without the sql-server,and everything runs fine.
...not nice when you need the sql-server....
