Have you mediacheck'd the cd's?

Comment 2 Dan Shamsie 2003-05-06 19:15:34 UTC
Yes, I have run mediacheck on the cdrom, I have tried different original (RH9.0)
as well as dowloaded images.

Comment 3 Ben Klang 2003-05-07 15:45:55 UTC
This is a duplicate of bug number 87742

Comment 4 Michael Fulbright 2003-05-13 16:43:22 UTC
This means the CD is marginal and passed the mediacheck but failed under install
conditions.

Comment 5 Dan Shamsie 2003-05-23 13:28:47 UTC
No , this is not a media problem, this is cdrom device driver bug.
This is a duplicate of bug number 87742

Ben Klang on 2003-05-07 11:45 ------- hit it correctly.

I am surprised nobody at Red Hat could figure it out.
Please do not sweep it under the rug by assigning it to Bug # 75008.
