Have you mediacheck'd the cd's? Yes, I have run mediacheck on the cdrom, I have tried different original (RH9.0) as well as dowloaded images. This is a duplicate of bug number 87742 This means the CD is marginal and passed the mediacheck but failed under install conditions. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 75008 *** No , this is not a media problem, this is cdrom device driver bug. This is a duplicate of bug number 87742 Ben Klang on 2003-05-07 11:45 ------- hit it correctly. I am surprised nobody at Red Hat could figure it out. Please do not sweep it under the rug by assigning it to Bug # 75008. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 87742 *** Changed to 'CLOSED' state since 'RESOLVED' has been deprecated. |
