+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #989498 +++ Description of problem: On RHEL 5.8 with default net-snmp package I can't get hrStorage Data with SNMP. So no monitoring of diskspace with nagios/icinga/... is possible. It worked on older RHEL 4.x/5.x Version - but also not on the few latest Versions. Could easily be backported from RHEL 6 - as it got fixed there on my request - just 2-3 Lines of Code ... Problem affects dozens of Server in our Company - and surely much more in other Companies ... Maybe you reevaluate this Ticket.
