Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Jan Hutař 2014-03-24 15:27:46 UTC
Description of problem:
After I have synced Red Hat Enterprise Linux repos in Sync Status I see unbelievably short duration and 0 size for that repo

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite-6.0.3-RHEL-6-20140321.2

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sync Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5 and 5.10 RPMs and Kickstarts repos
2. Once it is finished, check Content -> Sync Status page again

Actual results:
E.g. for "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Server RPMs x86_64 5.10" I do see there "duration" = "10 minutes" and "size (packages)" = "0 Bytes (0)". First value seems pretty low, but second one is just incorrect.

Expected results:
Real sync time and correct size and number of packages.

Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been
set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

Comment 3 Brad Buckingham 2014-06-25 18:58:04 UTC
This bug is very similar to bug 1085162. They may be related to the same root cause; however, in the chance that they are not, I am going to leave them both remain open and assign this over to Partha.

Partha, if you find the fix to be the same for both, please mark one as a dupe.

Comment 9 sthirugn@redhat.com 2014-08-11 02:24:55 UTC
Verified. Now I see Duration and Details displayed fine.

But sync start time is displayed wrong which is tracked in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1128262
