2. Display packages search form:
   Content -> Content Search -> Content: Packages
3. In Repositories section switch to "Auto-complete repos" and type "Sat" and
   wait a bit auto-competition can start

I saw something quite like this when autocompleting products during a package search. It showed as a red popup, and as a row in the user notifications (shown by choosing Administer/Content Notifications in the web UI).

The user notification generated says this:

I see this isn't quite the same table in the error, but I am guessing the fix is either in the same code, or some code quite close to it, so I have not filed a separate bug.

Note, the error show in comment #9 is different than the original bug.  That error is a 404 attempting to retrieve katello/assets/icons/spinner.gif vs the original error that would occur while the auto-complete was performed.
