Then we will need to change this for downstream to include either a link or a ref to docs on backups which are more extensive in RHEV. We don't have links anywhere in our system. Also, I don't think branding supports that. Einav? What's the difference between that and every other feature clients don't know? I don't think we should give messages with links.... I don't think branding support that. We should really try and aim for values that will fit both upstream and downstream (like "Foreman/Satellite" that we had in a different BZ). If absolutely impossible and a downstream change is needed - it should be done via a configuration value or something similar. We also don't support hyperlinks within Event's messages. Maybe a URL can be provided (preferably via a configuration value) within the Event message but it will not be displayed as a hyperlink (it could be an easy feature to implement - need to look into it - but it would be a new feature, and we are already way past feature freeze). I don't think that it is needed. Yaniv, either move it to 4.0, or close it. What needs to be done here for 4.0? Repeating my comment from above. I don't think that it is needed, and we don't have proper mechanisms to do that. I'm closing as WONTFIX. We need better context sensitive help. Maybe we will be able to do this in the next ui. So add it to the next UI requirements. Leaving this bug open is useless. Either close it, or add a "PM" oVirt team, to contain PM related bugs/RFEs which will contain ideas you want to push forward. It's not coming from me, it's from the field. Please see the dup bugs on the tracker. this was raised from them. Yaniv, it's currently assigned to you? Closing has the field have not requested any more change for now. |
