Description of problem: "Kernel" information of host in Hosts list is not valid. What version is shown in "Version" section? I don't think it is Ceph version. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rhscon-core-0.0.5-0.1.alpha1.el7.x86_64 rhscon-ceph-0.0.3-0.1.alpha1.el7.x86_64 rhscon-ui-0.0.3-0.1.alpha1.el7.noarch How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Got to Hosts page 2. Check "Kernel" and "Version" info Actual results: "Kernel" info is not valid and "Version" info cannot be paired with any known version in OS. Expected results: "Kernel" info is valid and "Version" info shows version of any known part of OS. Additional info: Now there is static info even for RHEL7 nodes. Version : 0.94.3 Kernel : 4.0.4-301.fc22.x86_64 <-- Fedora kernel
Checking with ============= On RHSC 2.0 server machine: rhscon-ui-0.0.48-1.el7scon.noarch rhscon-core-selinux-0.0.34-1.el7scon.noarch rhscon-ceph-0.0.33-1.el7scon.x86_64 rhscon-core-0.0.34-1.el7scon.x86_64 ceph-installer-1.0.14-1.el7scon.noarch ceph-ansible-1.0.5-28.el7scon.noarch On Ceph OSD machine: rhscon-core-selinux-0.0.34-1.el7scon.noarch rhscon-agent-0.0.15-1.el7scon.noarch ceph-selinux-10.2.2-22.el7cp.x86_64 ceph-common-10.2.2-22.el7cp.x86_64 ceph-base-10.2.2-22.el7cp.x86_64 ceph-osd-10.2.2-22.el7cp.x86_64 Verification ============ In the dev freeze build, there is no kernel or any other version information provided on the Host list page for each host. That said, the OS and kernel version is provided on Configuration tab of Host page and the values reported there looks valid, see eg. one machine of my cluster (I checked all though). ~~~ OS Version Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7.2 Kernel Version 3.10.0-327.22.2.el7.x86_64 ~~~ Since I wasn't able to find further details about this feature in our design documents (eg. for which packages should RHSC 2.0 report it's version), I'm ok with the current state (as I have nothing to compare it to).
