Description of problem:
ovirt 3.6.3 q35 tpye vm cdrom always IDE
where can I change the cdrom type,change config file? DB? OR use some Command。

VM centos7-base001 is down with error. Exit message: unsupported configuration: IDE controllers are unsupported for this QEMU binary or machine type.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create vm an select qemu type pc-q35-rhel7.2.0 or q35
2.add a iso
3.start vm

Actual results:

VM centos7-base001 is down with error. Exit message: unsupported configuration: IDE controllers are unsupported for this QEMU binary or machine type.

Expected results:
vm is run

this is a known issue tracked in bug 1305900. 
Till then you can't use a cdrom
