There seem to be a lot issues around this upstream; the same is true for code changes since last release. Bumping this to Queens.
vSwitch Stats is merged to collectd master please reference https://github.com/collectd/collectd/tree/master search for "ovs_stats" Can you review this and review the push to Queens
