Description Matti Airas 2000-10-10 06:03:14 UTC
Due to changed init behaviour (bugs 17907, 18132), selecting halt from
gnome logout dialog does not poweroff the computer. The change of behaviour
compared to RHL 6.2 is confusing and not trivially repairable to the casual
user. If init script behaviour is deemed correct (why would one want to
halt without not powering off, anyway?), gnome and gdm halt functionality
should be fixed so that they perform poweroff instead.
