Description Carlos O'Donell 2021-08-17 15:54:07 UTC
The upstream glibc 2.34 release is receiving select urgent and critical bug fixes after release, and RHEL 9 Beta should include such fixes before the compose.

The intent of this bug is track the last import of those urgent and critical bug fixes for inclusion in RHEL 9 Beta.

Individual bugs filed for backports will be made to depend on this bug, like was done for previous imports of fixes. The fixes will be imported individually one-by-one.

This work is by necessity quite possibly the last few fixes we do before RHEL9 Beta compose.

A respin with these additional changes is on its way. This includes a fix for the regression of bug 522528 caught during internal testing.
