Doc Text:
.Upgrades with NFS clusters now work as expected Previously, due to a change in the NFS node ID and UUID logic in 8.0z3, users would need to remount NFS exports after running an upgrade. This fix provides a solution for both versions 8.0z2 or earlier, as well as for 8.0z3 and 8.0z4 versions. * For upgrading from version 8.0z2 or earlier, NFS clusters created before the upgrade will retain their alphanumeric node IDs in the format SERVICE_NAME.RANK and be able to continue using the node IDs in this format. NFS clusters that are created after the upgrade will use the new format of the numeric string node IDs. * For upgrading from 8.0z3 or 8.0z4, the numeric node IDs are converted to numeric string node IDs.
With this fix, users no longer need to remount export clients after upgrade and upgrading with NFS clusters works as expected.
