Description of problem:
when trying to install from f11-beta kde livecd it fails during "Performing post-installation filesystem changes. ..."

with error:
An error occurred mounting device /dev/sda6 as /: mount failed: (2, None). This is a fatal error and the install cannot continue.

f11-beta kde livecd

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.liveinst
2.U.S. English
3.enter hostname, clock with utc, root password
4.create custom layout (I have no raid, no lvm)
5.use /dev/sda1 for /boot , don't format
6.use /dev/sda6 for / , format as ext3
7.next (no swap)
8.don't install boot loader
9.(copying image to hard drive)
10.error
  
Actual results:
error from description

Expected results:
system installed

Additional info:
maybe this is related to bug #493947 where mount also fails
