not sure what other info i can give. i tried loading easytag from a terminal and there were no errors, i also ran tailf /var/log/messages and then easytag to see if anything came up but it was clear. let me know what i can do to help.
Confirmed this behavior on every station where I have easytag as well. I had to rebuild the previous 2.1 version to restore the ability to see any files.
Easy tag finds no .mp3 files, not files at all. At least it finds .flac files. According to easytag.spec (see below), this is not a bug but expected behaviour. # Remove code potentially able to decode mp3 #Source: http://downloads.sf.net/easytag/easytag-%{version}.tar.bz2 # tar xjvf easytag-$VERSION.tar.bz2 # rm -rf easytag-$VERSION/src/libmpg123/ # tar --numeric-owner -cjvf easytag-$VERSION-patched.tar.bz2 easytag-$VERSION Those changes to sources might have been done due to US patents. Those who are outside US patent jurisdiction can rebuid easytag-2.1.6-1.src.rpm with original source and no patch0
tried building from source and even though ./configure --help says that mp3 support is enabled by default it doesn't build with mp3 support. i tried with --enable-mp3=YES and it says that it compiled with mp3 support but i still can't see mp3's any ideas?
There was already a report open for this. I've pushed a new package to testing which should appear shortly. Sorry about that. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 525519 ***
