The errors are displayed in an attachment. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): system-config-kdump-2.0.1-1.fc12.noarch How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start system-config-kdump Actual results: system-config-kdump opens an error window, but no configuration window. Expected results: system-config-kdump doesn't display any errors, and starts configuration window. Additional info: I recently upgraded my system from F11 to F12. 6 months ago I upgraded it from F10 to F11, so It hasn't been reinstalled since F10. This is similar to bug 524532, but the output is slightly different.
Thanks for the report. Can you please post a content of grub.conf (or any other bootloaders conf file)?

system-config-kdump-2.0.2-1.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
I'm using system-config-kdump 2.0.2-1 and it still not work. I'm reopening this bug report as call traces looks similar.

This one is another bug. It is fixed in git. I will include the patch in F12
Just to be sure, can you please run /usr/share/system-config-kdump/system-config-kdump-backend.py by hand in root env? And post here any error.
