RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

This feature request did not get resolved in time for Feature Freeze
for the current Red Hat Enterprise Linux release and has now been
denied. You may re-open your request by requesting your support
representative to propose it for the next release.

Andrius,

Since these are all bug fix requests I don't understand this response? Are you saying you're not taking bug fixes in RHEL6 or is there something else I'm missing?

thanks
Laurie

Comment 4 Andrius Benokraitis 2010-04-19 19:48:45 UTC
Laurie - Subbu included the word 'feat' in the summary and FutureFeature in the keywords, making it a feature. If this isn't a feature I need to fix this and re-propose. Let me know.

Comment 5 laurie barry 2010-04-19 19:59:19 UTC
Strange - the only words I see referenced in Keyword field are "OtherQA" and when I search on "summary" only your reference shows up. Maybe I don't have permissions to see the entire content? Only bug fixes were submitted.

Comment 6 Andrius Benokraitis 2010-04-19 20:03:44 UTC
Yup, just fixed it (probably before you looked again). Fixed, and re-proposed.

Comment 7 RHEL Program Management 2010-04-19 20:11:19 UTC
This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red
Hat Enterprise Linux major release. Product Management has requested further
review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red
Hat Enterprise Linux Major release. This request is not yet committed for
inclusion.

*IMPORTANT*

Partners - please test this bugzilla *immediately* and report back with a comment. Delays in test findings could impact future proposed inclusions due to failed partner test commitments. Your results are very important to Red Hat and its mutual customers.

Comment 17 Subbu Seetharaman 2010-09-15 13:16:38 UTC
Verified in snapshot 12.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 is now available and should resolve
the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed
