Description of Problem:
rpm can't replace a directory with a symlink.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.0.4-7x.5

How Reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build an rpm with a directory in it; install it
2. Update the rpm, replacing the directory with a symlink
3. Try to upgrade to the new rpm

Actual Results:
Error messages, failed upgrade

Expected Results:
New rpm is installed

Additional Information:
I know it's always been that way; filing a bug report in the hopes of getting it on the
feature list for one of the next versions.

This issue blocks fixing some other bugs.
