Description of problem: 
Battery monitor in KDE systray doesn't show.  apm at commandline correctly shows battery 
remaining and Gnome battery monitor shows battery life properly. 
 
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 
Red Hat Skipjack Beta1 
 
How reproducible: 
Always 
 
Steps to Reproduce: 
1. Enable KDE battery monitor in KDE Control Center. 
2. Look in systray.  No battery monitor there. 
  
 
Expected Results:  See battery monitor in KDE systray.

Sony PCG-FXA36 Athlon 4 laptop computer

Did you install the kdeutils-laptop package?

Yes I did have it installed, but the latest up2date packages today fixed the 
KDE battery indicator so this bug is now resolved.
