Description Jaroslav Kortus 2010-09-13 16:43:08 UTC
Standard kickstarts are not updated. To update it, you must use RHN or repositories available in the lab.

The time is lost here, because the outdated packages are first installed and then updated. Also, the machines should be fully updated by default.

There are repositories, which seem to be working well if used as an update source. These are usually available at http://download/sysrepos/.

The problem is they cannot be used in the kickstart directly (so the depsloving routines would choose the new one automatically). The result would be fully updated machine right after the kickstart is finished.

Could this be implemented as, for example, additional tag in the job workflow?
